MASK CRESSI QUANTUM
The major innovation with the Quantum mask is that as well as offering enhanced downwards vision it avoids the fogging phenomenon through the internal thermoregulation of the warm, damp air exiting the nose. This air is channelled by a system of membranes set in the moulding around the eyes and nose and deviating the flow towards the silicone skirt rather than the lenses.
The external part of the skirt features a cooling system composed of two small heat exchangers that act as radiators. The effect is that the temperature inside mask drops, coming closer to the external temperature and the droplets of humidity are trapped before the air reaches the lenses, preventing them from fogging up.
Despite the presence of the small internal membranes deviating the air flow and the external heat exchangers, the body of the Quantum mask is nonetheless compact and represents the most advanced design offered on the underwater vision market.
The lenses are not treated chemically and it should be remembered that when the mask is new, as is the case with all masks, we advise you to clean the lenses carefully with toothpaste or dishwashing detergent, or simply use a lighter to burn away all volatile materials and dust that may have collected on the glass. It is also always useful to use saliva as a surfactant before every dive.
Cressi Mask Quantum Features:
- Patented anti-fogging system
- Double injection technology
- Tilting Lens
- Flexible Buckle With Micrometric Adjustment
- Bi-silicone strap
- Tempered glass
INNER MEMBRANES
A patented membrane surrounding the inner nose pocket (1) and both the inner eyes pockets (2) which acts as a barrier and traps any moisture escaping from the diver’s nose involuntarily when breathing through the mouth. The result is that not only is the moisture channeled away from the lenses, thus avoiding the fogging up of them, but it also reduces the need to compensate for pressure.
To further improve the anti-fog effect, Cressi suggests, the first times that the dive mask is used, to spray some anti-fog solution or to apply some saliva on the inside of the lenses and then to rinse them with water.
HEAT EXCHANGER
The external part of the skirt features a cooling system composed of two small heat exchangers that act as radiators (3).
Thanks to this system, the temperature inside mask drops, coming closer to the external temperature and the droplets of humidity are trapped before the air reaches the lenses, preventing them from fogging up.

Snorkel Cressi Itaca Ultra Dry ITACA
The Itaca Ultra Dry snorkel features at the top end an internationally patented dry guard, which prevents water entry while using it on the surface in any position. The new mechanical device has three movement joints, whose counterweight ensures immediate opening of the upper valve whether you dive or emerge from the water. The lower part is equipped on the inner side with a smooth flexible corrugated section, which keeps the aerator away from the mouth while using any breathing apparatus.
The mouthpiece, made of soft silicone, has an angle studied in a particularly ergonomic way, with a reduced bite size for prolonged use without gum fatigue. The mouthpiece body consists of two pieces, with an inclination that ensures better and faster water drainage. A lower purge valve enables instant clearing when needed. The transparent tube has a side reinforcement in colored rubber.
Cressi Snorkel ITACA Features:
- Special patented new Aquastop valve: very efficient on up / down positions
- Dry guard: seals breathing tube when submerged
- Mouthpiece: drops away when not in use – great for scuba divers
- High-quality silicone mouthpiece: is comfortable and durable
- Angled anatomical mouthpiece: reduces jaw fatigue
- Lower purge valve: allows water to be quickly expelled
- Streamlined design reduces drag while swimming
- Adjustable clip for securing to any mask
