The Cressi spring strap features high-quality characteristics that truly set it apart. The spring, manufactured in Spain, is made of AISI 316 stainless steel to ensure optimal resistance to saltwater environments. Inside the spring, a Dyneema limit cable with a braided sheath prevents the spring from over-stretching, ensuring it does not exceed its maximum elastic memory (1.8). Both the tension force and the length of the spring have been precisely calibrated so that the energy transfer of the fin stroke is not compromised by excessive spring elongation—a common issue if the correct size is not chosen. The plastic buckle pins have been replaced with more durable stainless steel pins.
